Valentine-Ball-Gown-Night-in-Memory-of-Richard-ButcherWith Valentines night approaching there will be many of us in Northampton looking for a great night out with our loved one. Although Northampton town has a lot to offer, seldom do we get the opportunity to do a lot of good whilst revelling, dining, or pursuing any other form of entertainment other than it’s doing a lot of good for us, but don’t get me wrong, it’s a good thing to seek pleasure for ourselves, it’s just even better if we can do some good for others whilst we do.

Richard-ButcherHere’s one way you can have a fantastic night out whilst helping a great local charity. The Valentine Ball Gown Night in Memory of Richard Butcher is a charity ball event in memory of Richard Butcher who being a pro football player tragically died aged 29. You can learn more about Richard Butcher from the link at the bottom of this post. The event is being held at the Saints Rugby Club on the Weedon road in Northampton on the 15th of February. Although the Saints Rugby Club at Franklin’s Gardens stadium remains the largest, most luxurious, state-of-the-art conference & banqueting centre in Northampton & the surrounding area, the evening has been well catered for.

the-jets-ricky-swanThere will be Live music from The Jets & Ricky Swan, Plus raffle prizes & an auction too, you can even have your photo taken which is included in your ticket price of just £12. To top the night off there is also a late bar & disco for all you movers & shakers out there. The money raised for the event will go towards a memorial pitch & club house for our local community here in Northampton. Full details on how you can secure your ticket can be found at the bottom of this post. So if you’re like me & you like to have fun but love to help good causes along the way, then this is one event you don’t want to miss.
